i have officially come to grips with the fact that i am a lame blogger. time just seems to somehow escape me and there's always something else i should be doing. but people are starting to get pissed. it has been an extremely busy summer (which i can't believe is over) and so i will try some feeble attempt to summarize it here in pictures. and for whatever reason...blogspot mixes all my pictures up and gets them out of order. and when i try to move them around, my computer has a meltdown and shuts down. so you'll just have to bear with me here...
josie has really come out of her shell this summer. her personality is very sweet, but also mischievous.
over labor day weekend we went to visit my sister who lives near madison, wi. here are all the cousins at blue mounds state park. it was a beautiful day.
our subsequent hike (death march). it got a little longer than we all expected, especially with five children. ahh, nature!

my sister and i went to algoma, wi to do some family history. we spent a lot of time here...

Your kids are beautiful. I can't believe how crazy summer gets either! Benjamin starts Kindergarten today. I'm soooo excited!!!
I can't believe that the summer is over either! And that slip n slide looks awesome!!
